After a selected harvest from our farm La Olagosa, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak vats. Aging is carried out in American and French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. It is then bottled and remains in the bottle for a while before going on the market.

After a vegetative cycle marked by the hard frost of April and the drought, the campaign offered very satisfactory results in quality. The excellent health of the vineyard throughout the vegetative cycle, with total absence of pests or diseases of importance, has been one of the most outstanding characteristics of a harvest whose harvest began in August, becoming the earliest in the history of Rioja. The good weather that accompanied the end of the cycle and the improvement of very reduced production expectations, both due to the drought and the effects of the strong frost, resulted in a high quality harvest.

Intense garnet color with ruby reflections. On the nose, it maintains notes of red fruit typical of Tempranillo, assembled with the aromas of its aging in wood such as vanilla, coffee or tobacco. In the mouth it is powerful and harmonious, with medium body, long finish, spicy flavor and complexity. All this is a faithful exponent of this winery.
