Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Once the malolactic fermentation is finished, the subsequent aging process takes place in American and French oak barrels for a minimum period of 12 months. After a gentle clarification and filtering, it is bottled to finish its aging in the bottle until it reaches the market.

This harvest in the D.O Ribera del Duero was marked by extreme weather that accompanied for a good part of the cycle. The various meteorological effects in the months of April and May influenced unevenly depending on the orientation and altitude of the vineyards. The other relevant climatological feature was drought - during the cycle 250 ml approx. of rain fell when 450 ml are expected. The harvest is very similar to 2005; the grapes have arrived in an unbeatable state of health and with excellent quality.

Ruby color of deep intensity. On the nose it is intense and complex, it keeps the black fruit ripe, blackberries, violets, balanced with balsamic notes of wood. In the mouth it is sweet, with a lot of body, intense but soft tannins, notes of cigar box, caramel, cinnamon and aromatic herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Silky and long in its final step. A balanced and complex wine with a lot of life ahead to express its full potential.
